The Club’s Stump Picnic is a long-standing tradition in Phelps County which has brought Democratic candidates to the Rolla area to meet rural Democrats in the Missouri Ozarks. In the past our speakers have included both state-wide and local candidates running for office ranging from governor to county commission. Each candidate is encouraged to give a brief “stump speech” and meet as many local Democrats as possible.
We invited all those who have declared candidacy for 2024 elections as well as Missouri Democratic Party leadership. The following speakers have been invited and their attendance status as of 7/4/2023 has been updated.

Note that we are selling tickets this year for the BBQ. They are $5.00 for adults; kids 13 and under free. This will help offset the cost of the BBQ items. We will also have a potluck for sides and desserts. You may purchase tickets online or pay when you arrive at the event (cash preferred onsite). Please register online if possible even if you want to pay at the event so we have a good idea how many people will be attending. If you only plan to attend to listen to the speakers, plan to arrive about 12:30.
