What's Coming Up
November General Meeting and Potluck Dinner
Greetings all!
We are going to have our next General Meeting on November 20 at the Phelps County Courthouse Multipurpose Room starting at 6:00 p.m. We already have volunteers to bring turkey and ham! We ask that members/attendees bring a Thanksgiving side dish and/or dessert.
Our speaker will be Clayton Harbison. Clayton is running to be our next U.S. Congressional Representative in the 8th District (incumbent Jason Smith).
The schedule for the evening will be:
5:45-6:00 - Members bring side dishes and desserts to the kitchen
6:00 - Meeting begins with welcome and moment of thanks and buffet dinner
6:45 - Speaker and Q&A session.
7:15 - Review upcoming events
7:45 - Meeting adjourn
We will have petitions to sign at this event!

Holiday Dinner!! December 6, 2025

Greetings all,
We will gather this holiday season to share a meal with friends, hear about what is happening in the Missouri legislature and discuss accomplishments for this year and plans for next. Please join us!
LOCATION: Colton's in Rolla
TIME: Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. Doors will be open and drinks available beginning at 4:30 p.m (Cash bar in the room).
COST: $35.00 per person

Our speaker for the evening will be Representative Steve Butz. Here is some background information about Steve:
Representative Steve Butz, a Democrat, represents part of St. Louis City (District 81) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term in November 2018. In addition to serving in the legislature, Butz is the president of the Crawford-Butz Insurance Agency. He received the President's Choice Award from Safeco Insurance in 2018. Butz is also a managing partner for Eagle Hurst Ranch in Steelville. A lifelong resident of south St. Louis, Butz currently resides there with his wife, Angie. They have six children and eight grandchildren. *Note that Steve is the brother of retired Rolla City administrator, John Butz.
Steve will be talking with us about his experience as a member of the Missouri legislature and the best ways to influence our state legislature. He will begin speaking at approximately 6:30 p.m.
